I came to QGIS because I wanted to work with maps. I stayed interested because it keeps asking me to slow down.

Before an analysis, there is data preparation. Before a result, there is a study area. Before a confident statement, there is the question of whether the layers actually belong together.

Spatial work is partly about making patterns visible. It is also about noticing what the pattern leaves out.
